1- Parsian Ghaleganj Hotel Kapari, Kerman – Iran
Established in April of 2016, four-star Parsian Ghaleganj Hotel Kapari is located in one of the southernmost cities of Kerman province, Qaleh Ganj, about 400 km away from Kerman. what makes the Ghaleganj to be listed in our Iran unique hotels is that the hotel is made out of Kapar (hut), which is a species of shady residence in southern Iran from the trunk of a date tree.
Also known as the Ball Hotel, it consists of 30 Kapars (huts), which are in fact single and double rooms. The rooms have TV sets, refrigerators, telephones, and private bathrooms with showers. The hotel has a coffee shop and a hut restaurant with a variety of traditional and special cuisine that is located in the middle of the complex.
You can also experience a lot of activities like camel riding, playing local games like Ramaza, and enjoying traditional music and local dance while staying at the hotel. The rooftop of the hotel has a delicate view of the forest and the desert.
2- Kandovan Laleh Rocky Hotel, Tabriz – Iran
The five-star Laleh Kandovan International Hotel provides you an opportunity to stay in a historical tourist attraction with strange architecture in the heart of the mountain. The Laleh Kandovan is the third rocky hotel in the world with beautiful and mountainous nature in the heart of the historic village of Kandovan. This complex, as the first marine hotel in the Middle East, similar to the ones in the Maldives and the Caribbean, includes two phases, one built over the sea with 100 suits and one built over the beach. 4- Zein O Din Caravanserai, Yazd – Iran
Truly is listed as one of the unique hotels in Iran and even the middle east. The trade route from Yazd to Kerman was one of the busiest ways for caravans to cross, and this Caravanserai in Yazd accepted the reception of passers-by in this area. Yazd was recognized from the beginning for its unique and special architecture. Therefore, Zein-O-din Caravanserai was able to separate its architecture from other caravanserais in Iran with a circular plan.
This building was built during the Safavid era and today, after renovation, it has become a popular ecotourism resort in the hot and dry province of Yazd. A unique experience in any possible words.
5- Matin abad Desert Eco-Camp, Isfahan – Iran
We cannot talk about unique hotels in Iran and miss the Matin Abad eco-camp and organic farm. The camp is located 60 km from Kashan city. The eco-resort is in the heart of an Iranian desert, one side facing the highest central mountains of Iran, Karkas Mountains, and the other side facing the Dasht-e Kavir Desert and Salt Lake. It consists of tents, caravanserai room (twin, triple), Shah Neshin Room (King room), Gooshvareh (earring room), and Koomeh (rural style room).
On the roof of the complex, there is a special suite room called Shahneshin (King’s Room) which has a panoramic view of the beautiful desert and farms. Gooshvareh rooms are located on both sides of the Shahneshin and have Safavid architecture.
In this eco-resort, you have the opportunity to experience a variety of desert activities and adventures close to nature such as camel riding, riding, biking, and desert walking in beautiful star-lit nights. Located between the dunes and vast semiarid grass-covered plain is the camp with modern facilities.
6- Durna Eco Camp, Ardabil – Iran
Durna Eco camp is located in 20 km south of Meshgin Shahr, Ardabil province Iran. Sabalan mountains, green plains and mountainous climate surround this beautiful eco camp.
Durna nomadic eco camp includes 2 nomadic tents, 4 mountain huts and 2 hobbit huts, all made out of stone materials, as well as inspired by the history and culture of the Azeri Turks and the Shahsavan nomads. tourists can use Qinarjeh hot spring by walking a distance of 2 km.
As an ecolodge and sustainability targets, the camp operators have not provided air conditioning and refrigerator for each unit; though the Sabalan area is quite chilling and mild even in the warm seasons.
7- Barin hotel, Shemshak – Iran
