Iran Authority stated that: ” A preliminary agreement has been reached with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Health to reopen the country’s borders to foreign tourists.”

They added that: ” Tourist visas will be issued again from 6th of July 2021 based on preliminary arrangements with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of the Interior.” On Wednesday, deputy tourism minister Vali Terymouri made the announcement.

The official said, “for the reopening of crossings to vaccinated passengers, they had an extensive discussion with other government ministries.”
“We are following the arrival of overseas citizens who have been vaccinated so that they do not pose a threat or worry to Iranian society through various committees” Teymouri added.

Seems at first phase, Iran tourist visa will be issued to international travellers who have received the [second dose of] coronavirus vaccine and they would be allowed to enter Iran.

Easing Iran travel restrictions in further phases is subject to Iran covid-19 situation. the status will be tightly monitored by authorities before taking the next step. It would be probable if everything goes well, Iran government will issue visas to those travellers who already infected by virus and cured completely.
