Considered one of the oldest towns of Iran, we’ll spend a day in Kashan and its outskirts to explore the natural and cultural highlights of the city. This one-day tour of Kashan includes the visit of one of the greatest samples of Persian Gardens, Fin Garden along with the Sialk Archeological Hill and finishes with visiting the Underground City of Nushabad.

Our tour starts by visiting Fin Garden as one of the 9 UNESCO World Heritage Persian Gardens and where the natural beauty is mixed with splendid architecture and culture to serve a historic empire. Fin Bathhouse is located in a corner of the garden and is where the chief minister of a Qajar King, Amir Kabir was murdered. Moving on to get a deeper insight into the city, we will drive to an archeological site called Sialk Hills. As an ancient settlement, Sialk Hills (also known as Teppe Sialk) construction dates back to around 6500–5500 B.C. It includes a ziggurat tower and a small museum open for the visitors. While visiting it, we will learn about the ancient civilizations that lived in the neighborhood.

The last site to be visited during this one-day tour is a well-known underground city located in the northern part of Kashan. The city was used as a shelter against outside invasions by its residents. With its labyrinth of corridors, rooms and wells, Nushabad was dug up on 4 underground floors during the Sassanid era.
