The former has objects from ancient Persepolis, Chogha Zanbil, Susa and many more from pre-Islamic Iran. The latter, however, has wonderful exhibits from Abbasid, Seljuk, Ilkhanid, Safavid, Qajar periods, all displayed in chronological order. No matter if you have or haven’t visited a jewelry museum before, you will bet astonished by the jewels in the National Museum of Jewelry (the Treasury of National Jewels). It’s located in the building of the Central Bank of Iran and displays hundreds of national treasures collected by different kings and dynasties of ancient Persia. Among all, we can name the highlights as Daria-I-Noor is the largest diamond of the historic World. The Peacock Throne, The Samarian Spinel, and Pahlavi Crown.

Last but not least, is the visit of the Golestan Palace as one of the oldest historic monuments in Tehran and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will visit the Reception Hall (Talar Salam), Royal Garden, Marble Throne (Eyvan Takhte-e-Marmar) and The Badgir (wind catcher) inside the palace-complex.
