Overview
Known as the city of literature and poetry, Shiraz is where you shouldn’t miss exploring deeply. It’s not just home to the tombs of great Persian poets Hafiz and Saadi, but also, it’s the main city close to the remains of the Achaemenid empires of Persepolis and Pasargadae.
During this one-day sightseeing in the splendid city of Shiraz, take your time to have a deep exploration of the downtown. The atmosphere of the city itself with its people known as being easy-going and kind is really mesmerizing. The tour will start in the morning and continue till the evening. The first sight will be visiting the magical rainbow colors in the Pink Mosque (Nasir-al Mulk Mosque) and you will have enough time to take your colorful photos enjoying its noticeable architecture.
Moving on, we will go to the Eram Garden and Narenjestan Qavam Garden as two fine examples of the Persian Garden. These kinds of gardens have been built in Iran since ancient times as the symbol of Eden and their main beautiful houses have been used by the kings as their residential buildings.
The next stop will be in the afternoon, first, we will pay a visit to the tombs of the world-known Iranian poets of Hafiz and Saadi where is the home to every art and literature enthusiast in Shiraz. Then an exploration of Karimkhan Citadel and the Vakil Complex. Vakil Complex consists of the Mosque, the Bathhouse and the Bazaar. Vakil Bathhouse is now turned into a museum and is not used as a hammam. In this museum, we can see how people used to wash in the old times when this bathhouse was actively used by people in Shiraz. The last point of the daily tour will be strolling in the bazaar and having a traditional Shirazi ice-cream with carrot juice or you can choose Faloodeh which is a kind of traditional Iranian dessert.
Tour duration is from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

The sightseeing starts by driving to the Pink Mosque of Shiraz also known as Nasir-al Mulk Mosque with its soothing atmosphere and colorful windows. Moving on, we will visit two great samples of Persian Gardens, Narenjestan Qavam and Eram Gardens to see their wonderful designs as the symbol of Eden. Later on, we will go to a restaurant to have our lunch and take some rest. In the afternoon we will keep on the tour by exploring the Tomb of Hafiz and reading some poems of him, Vakil Complex (the Bazaar, Mosque and the Bath-house) and finish by having a Shirazi ice cream with carrot juice.

Since this is a private tour, upon your request, some attractions can be skipped or added (in a way the total number of them is the same as the itinerary and there’s no extra cost).

Before I only heard about Shiraz wine which is really awesome drink, but let me clarify something here, Shiraz is a city in Iran but the funniest is, they do not serve any kind of Shiraz wine (as it is banned). but that was the most beautiful city among other Iranian places we have been.

Shiraz Excursion
It was easy to find the guide at the mentioned places. I would recommend this package to everyone who wish to visit Shiraz as this is must-do visit and prices that you pay is definitely worth. Highlight of this package to me was pick mosque and Eram Garden, Furthermore, you can spread the visit up to 2 or 3 more days!
