A significant UNESCO World Heritage Site of Iran, the cultural landscape of Meymand village is located 3 hours’ drive from Kerman city. What makes Meymand unique is its ancient history and also the geological shapes of the rocky houses.
In this tour you’ll visit the rocky houses of Shahre Babak which is close to Meymand and then you’ll see other geological attractions while listening to the mysterious history and story of this place. Then after having local lunch in a cozy guesthouse, you’ll visit an old bathhouse and school to know more about the history of this location Don't forget to bring a camera to capture the amazing memorable moments of this tour.

Meymand rocky village Kerman
We have been picked up by a handsome good attitude guide driver from our hotel (Akhavan) and drive there around 2 hours. The village is still alive and local people live there, unlike so many other rocky villages in Turkey. that was amazing

Meymand rocky village tour
Tourguide (which I forget his name) picked up us with a sedan car in front of our hotel, we reach to rocky village afternoon which was sunny and hot (bring your cap, sunglasses and sunproof). some houses were abandoned but still some locals were living there.

Meymand tour
We went to Meymand and also the rocky garden same day. I do not recommend going both in one day as it is quite long driving, but we have been in rush and actually eager to visit both. Meymand is amazing and so mysterious, still some locals live in those rocky houses.
