Isfahan
Known as half of the world, Isfahan is one of the main cities of Iran with loads of hidden gems in every corner. This one-day Isfahan tour allows you to dive deep into every single corner of Naghsh-e Jahan Square (also Imam Square) and explore Ali Qapu Palace, Shah Mosque, Sheikh Lutfullah Mosque and the Bazaar.
Naghsh-e Jahan Square was built during the Safavid Dynasty when Isfahan was the capital of Iran. The king loved to sit on the balcony of his palace to watch the Polo game, which used to be played in the square.
Starting from the bazaar, we will walk through the well-built amazing vaulted roofs of the corridors to get to Ali Qapu Palace. Visiting the palace, we will discover the music rooms which are built with careful consideration to acoustic details. Moving forward, we’ll pass the handicrafts bazaars to get to the beautiful turquoise Shah Mosque (also known as Jame Abbasi Mosque), located on the south side of the square. Continuing the tour, we’ll pass the Minakari Bazaar to get to the other extraordinary mosque of the area, Sheikh Lutfullah Mosque. In addition, we will explore the metalwork (Ghalamzani), spices, carpets, and finally gold and silver bazaars.
Tour duration is from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm.
