Shaarbaf Hotel borrows its name from a kind of fabric called ‘Shaar’, a traditional cloth in Yazd that is woven with silk or goat's hair with a special knitting machine. The hotel is in Yazd, a city that is famous for its textile industry and its luxurious fabrics for many years.
The building of Shaarbaf Traditional Hotel belongs to the Qajar era (1789-1925). It has been registered on Iran’s national heritage list and turned into a homestay after restoration and reconstruction. The hotel has two separate courtyards and a total of 11 rooms range from single to six beds, each equipped with a TV, a mini-fridge, and a cooling and heating system an en-suite bathroom with a shower and free Wi-Fi.
Breakfast is served daily and you can enjoy traditional Persian cuisine at Shaarbaf Hotel’s restaurant serves. The roof of the hotel, like many houses in Yazd, is a place to rest. You can also drink refreshing beverages and local teas at the rooftop coffee shop.
