As a place of socialization in the past, hammams were of great importance to the people. Many of these cleaning centers have been destroyed or left abandoned during the last few decades. However, Qazi Hammam in Isfahan is among those few traditional ones which are renovated and used to provide the fans with a unique experience. The Hammam is a museum by itself letting you be soaped, scrubbed and massaged in the way ancient Persians used to be.

Getting yourself washed and cleaned in a traditional Persian style, will remove the whole fatigue and dirt away from your body. During this tour, you will hear the long history behind the bathhouse culture of Iranians while visiting the aesthetic beauty of a historical one with all its special elements.

Qazi Hammam consists of two separate parts one to be used by ladies and the other for gentlemen. Each space has its own specific parts of Sarbineh, Miandar, Garmkhaneh and Khazineh which are the famous parts of a Persian style hammam from the time you arrive at the place till leaving. For a short introduction, Sarbineh is the entrance part where you will take your clothes off, Miandar is the hallway connecting Sarbineh to the next phase’s space, Garmkhaneh is the main heated space where the actual washing and cleaning will take place (including the usage of body scrub and massage) and Khazineh is the last part, a place like a jacuzzi/pool where you can finalize your hammam ritual.

Tour duration is for 2 hours, any time from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Qazi Bathhouse hammam Isfahan, Iran

Chilling and relaxing experience after a long day walking in beautiful Isfahan. Just like Turkish hammam, seems middle east has lots of history in bathhouses and they care about cleanliness from the ancient era.

Persian bath

Personally I love anything related to bath, Spa and traditional treatment, so I tempted to book this experience. The taking bath procedure was funny and complicated but it is better to do not be shy and ask for guidance.

Iran Hammam tour

I experienced Turkish traditional hammam on my Turkey trip and that is why I tempted to do the same in Iran. the Hammam architecture was quite similar with a few differences like men and women hammam was separated but generally, you will have a great experience as me and my wife were really satisfied.

Persian hammam tour

We came in for the full package as a group of 3 welcomed by mohammed, it was my actual first time so I was a bit nervous but mohammed explained everything in English for me which was great, the massuer were not as well English spoken but did a great job, the building shows a lot of spirit and character I would definatley recommend if you're looking for authentic and originality
